After IGCSE and SPM, students can opt to study for a 6-month certificate.

6-month Certificate
If you do not have the required IGCSE/SPM grades to pursue a pre-U programme or diploma, you can still consider studying for a certificate. The entry requirement is a minimum of 1 credit at IGCSE/SPM level. A certificate programme is a skills-based course, usually for 1 year. It allows you to join the workforce upon successful completion. Another option is to further your studies by pursuing a diploma programme (note that there will be no exemption and you enter year 1 of diploma course).
After completing your Foundation, AUSMAT, A levels, IB, UEC, or STPM, students can opt to study for a diploma and degree.

Diploma and degree
Diploma programs are generally vocational in nature and are offered by polytechnics and institutes of technical education (ITEs) in Singapore. They are designed to provide students with practical skills and knowledge in specific fields, such as engineering, IT, business, and hospitality management.

A degree, on the other hand, is a higher-level qualification that typically takes 3-4 years to complete. Degree programs are generally more theoretical and academic in nature, and are offered by universities and private institutes in Singapore. They are designed to provide students with a broader understanding of their field of study, along with critical thinking and research skills.
After completing your diploma, students can opt to study for a 16-24 month degree.
